1. Introduction
Welcome to MaskOff. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the MaskOff mobile application (“App”), including any updates, new features, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by Moff Technologies LLC (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a Delaware limited liability company based in California. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.2. Acceptance of Terms
2.1. By downloading, installing, or using the MaskOff App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. 2.2. You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.3. Service Description
3.1. MaskOff is a mobile application designed to unmask phone numbers from blocked or unknown calls through conditional call forwarding technology. The App may also provide call recording functionality and other related features. 3.2. Service Limitations. You understand and acknowledge that:- Our Service relies on conditional call forwarding, which is a carrier feature that may not be supported by all carriers;
- Proper configuration of your device’s operating system and carrier settings is required for the Service to function correctly;
- While we provide guidance on configuring these settings, you are ultimately responsible for ensuring proper configuration;
- We cannot guarantee that the Service will work with all carriers or devices;
- The accuracy of unmasked phone numbers depends on information provided by carriers and other third parties, and we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy.
4. Account Registration and Security
4.1. To use the Service, you must register by providing your phone number and other information as requested. 4.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. 4.3. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update such information as necessary.5. Subscription and Payment Terms
5.1. Free Trial. We may offer a free trial period for the Service. Upon expiration of the free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the end of the trial period. 5.2. Subscription Fees. The Service is available on a subscription basis. Subscription fees will be charged to your chosen payment method through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. 5.3. Automatic Renewal. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each subscription period unless you cancel it before the renewal date. 5.4. Cancellation. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Play Store account settings. Cancellation will be effective at the end of your current billing period. 5.5. No Refunds. Generally, payments are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial subscription periods or unused portions of the Service. Refund policies of the App Store or Play Store may apply.6. User Conduct
6.1. You agree not to use the Service to:- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights;
- Harass, stalk, or otherwise invade the privacy of individuals;
- Record calls without proper consent where required by law;
- Engage in any deceptive, fraudulent, or malicious activities;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems;
- Use the Service for any illegal purposes;
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service.
7. Call Recording and Legal Compliance
7.1. Your Responsibility. The Service may include call recording functionality. You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws regarding call recording in your jurisdiction. 7.2. Consent Requirements. Many jurisdictions require the consent of all parties to a call before recording is permitted. You are responsible for obtaining all necessary consents before recording any call. 7.3. No Legal Advice. We do not provide legal advice regarding call recording laws. We strongly recommend consulting with a legal professional to understand your obligations under applicable laws. 7.4. Caller ID Disclosure in the United Kingdom. If you are located in the United Kingdom, the unmasking of withheld caller ID information is subject to the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR). In accordance with Regulation 15, the Service may only reveal withheld caller ID information when the user affirms that the call was malicious, harassing, or constituted a nuisance. You agree that by using the unmasking feature, you are affirming that the call was received for such a purpose and that disclosure of the caller’s identity is necessary to trace or address the nuisance. You further agree to use the unmasked information only for this legitimate purpose and not to violate any applicable privacy rights or laws.8. Intellectual Property
8.1. Our Rights. The App, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by the Company and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. 8.2. Limited License. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. 8.3. Restrictions. You may not:- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service;
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App;
- Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices;
- Use the Service in any way not expressly authorized by these Terms.
9. Third-Party Services and Content
9.1. The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services, applications, or websites that are not owned or controlled by us. 9.2. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for any third-party content, services, or practices, including their privacy policies or terms of service. 9.3. Your use of such third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.10. Disclaimer of Warranties
10.1. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. 10.2. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:- THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS;
- THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE;
- THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE;
- THE QUALITY OF ANY PRODUCTS, SERVICES, INFORMATION, OR OTHER MATERIAL PURCHASED OR OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS;
- ANY ERRORS IN THE SERVICE WILL BE CORRECTED.
